Owning a business has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. In fact, when I was in high school, I would draw out plans of different businesses and dream of all the ways I could make people's lives better because of it. It wasn't until last Fall, almost 15 years later, that my thoughts and dreams started formulating into real tangible ideas. 


I was working full-time in management when I found out that I was expecting our first child. It was always me and my husband's plan for me to be a stay-at-home mom, so I quit my job and started praying and looking for opportunities to work from home. My father-in-law had recently retired from practicing family medicine and started a medical consulting company. He was in need of some help, so I agreed and was able to stay at home and still help to provide for our growing family.

It is because of this experience that I have learned the pain points of owning a small business. The ability to juggle hats should be a qualification every employer looks highly upon because it is no easy task. This is something I have done over the last five years; I wouldn't change it for the world, but it can be incredibly difficult and tiresome.


Flourish means to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way. My mission is to alleviate burdens that small business owners and entrepreneurs are bearing, which keep them from doing what they love. More specifically, I really enjoy listening to my client's big ideas and then putting in place strategies to help them get there.


We are undeniably living in the digital age. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G is online, including step-by-step guides to create a website, endless amounts of tutorials for attracting more followers, and every How-To blog post explaining the ins and outs of successful marketing strategies. I have taught myself a lot from these kinds of resources and consider myself a professional troubleshooter, but it can be downright confusing and overwhelming. Really though, which guide or tip are you supposed to follow and implement?

My goal is to bring some clarity and understanding to my client's online marketing. My secret weapon is lots of open communication and strategy. There is no need to haphazardly choose one technique today and a different one tomorrow.
